I am a third-year PhD student at the University of Michigan School of Information, where I am advised by Oliver Haimson and Eric Gilbert.

- April 25, 2026 I co-organized Michigan Labor Against AI with fellow organizers in my grad union and the AAUP.
- April 2026 I attended my first CHI, '26 in Barcelona. I was part of the CHIdeology workshop and served as a student volunteer.
- October 2025 I defended my preliminary examination paper, "Deepfake Violence and Stolen Labor: How Compounded Exploitation of Sex Workers Structures the Deepfake Crisis."
- June 2025 I presented our TIDEs paper virtually at FAccT 2025.
- April 2025 Our paper "TIDEs: A Transgender and Nonbinary Community-Labeled Dataset and Model for Transphobia Identification in Digital Environments" was accepted to ACM FAccT 2025, in Athens, Greece.
- January 2025 I defended my pre-candidacy paper "TIDEs: Rethinking Approaches to Transphobia Identification in Digital Environments"
- November 2024 I co-organized the AI is not inevitable workshop with my UMSI PhD peers, gathering workers from all over the university to discuss AI adoption and investments within the University.
- May 2024 I submitted my pre-candidacy paper proposal, "TOAD: Transphobia Online, Advanced Detection: a leap toward transphobia detection online."
- August 2023 I started my PhD at the University of Michigan.
